Whilst I’m by no means (and make no claim!) to be perfect, I do make a conscious effort to work sustainably, and am always mindful of my environmental impact, both professionally and personally.

In my studio, I work predominantly with natural light and use 100% renewable electricity (and no gas). I source as much produce as possible locally, and shop from what's in season. Currently I minimise food waste by giving any surplus food I can’t consume myself away to friends and family, but am in the process of trialling Olio, an app which allows you to give away food to people in your local community.

I use props which I have collected over many years, many second hand, and when new props are required for client briefs I shop mindfully and try to support sustainably minded independent retailers whenever possible.

When travel is required for an assignment, I take trains and public transport wherever possible.

Working fully sustainably is of course a work in process, but one I am always conscious of and try my best to work towards.
